Case Managers

Tamia

I am a social work intern with dedication and a genuine passion for helping others. I am committed to maintaining professionalism, practicing with integrity, and to continuously growing professionally. I look forward to gaining experience in counseling with youth populations. My goal is to contribute meaningfully to Beacon Center's mission while developing the skills necessary to become an effective social worker who advocates for and empowers individuals.

Grace

I believe I am a good case manager because I look at the whole picture of a person: what makes them engaged with you, what matters to them, their values. I believe I am very empathetic and a good listener. I lead with a strengths-based thought process: what is the positive we can take from what’s happening, and how do we improve upon that strength to empower my client?

Lexie

I believe what makes me a good case manager is my strong desire to help in any way I can and my commitment to learning as much as possible so I can better support others. As a future social worker, this is my first experience, helping people other than my friends. The little time so far here at Beacon has shown me how much I enjoy, listening, being a pathetic, and building trust with others. I am a positive and energetic person who is hardworking even though I have a lot to learn. I see every new challenge/experience as an opportunity to grow and become someone who I can help more people in the future.

Jenna

As an MSW intern, I enjoy working with people and helping connect them to resources and support that can make a positive difference in their lives. I’m loyal, dependable, and consistent, and I take pride in being someone others can count on. I’m also flexible and able to adapt to different situations while staying organized and supportive. Through my education and internship experience, I’ve learned the importance of building strong relationships, listening without judgment, and creating a comfortable environment for clients. I’m excited to continue growing in the social work field and making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
